1. Major Road Truck Spill (>200 gallons) |

The best practice is to contain the spill and not to allow entry into a storm drain or water way. Vacuum the majority of the fuel/oil. Apply MICROBE OIL SPILL CLEANER (diluted 1:4 with water from concentrate) with a Hudson sprayer or equivalent. Then agitate (using broom or brush) the solution to break down the bond of fuel/oil on the surface and also to allow the microbes to cover the entire spill, not just the top and sides. Allow water to evaporate. |

2. Road Accident - Car - Oil Sump Leak (1 Gallon) |

5. Oil Spill - Still Water (lake, open water, river moving water) |

6. Does Microbe OSC effectively work below 50 degrees F? |
| |
|

It will work below 50 degrees F. When it gets below 32 degrees F its activity slows down and you need to keep it moving so it will not freeze. |

7. What effect does hard water have on the dilution rate and the effectiveness? |

"Hard Water" should not have any effect on the product. |

8. Would an elevated pH level affect the Microbe OSC? |
| |
|
| |
| a. |
Yes, a pH above 11 or below 4 will damage the microbes. |

9. What affect would chlorine or chlorinated water have on the Microbe OSC? |
| |
|
| |
| a. |
More the 200 ppm of Chlorine will kill the microbes. (Maximum allowable for drinking water is 4 ppm). |

10. What do I do after cleaning a storage tank with Microbe OSC and before refilling my storage tank? |
| |
|
| |
| a. |
Let the tank dry completely. You can blow air through the lines and the tank to help it dry completely. A smooth dry surface will not retain any living microbes. |

11. Can Microbe OSC be used to clean up oils containing sulfurized lard oils? |
| |
|

| a. |
Yes, in fact it should do a very good job. |

12. How well does Microbe OSC work on synthetic oil spills? |

It performs equally well on all hydrocarbons. |
|

13. What effect will Microbe OSC have on asphalt? |
| |
|
| |
| a. |
Microbe OSP will not cause harm to asphalt surfaces when used for routine clean up of spills, oil spots or oil and fuel spills from truck and car accidents. You should avoid storing the concentrate in containers located on asphalt surfaces where concentrated drips occur. Prolonged contact with the concentrate in the presence of water could cause some softening around the storage area. |

14. If we wanted to treat a parcel of land (remediation of several acres) that was contaminated with FUEL OIL. How would we do it? |

Generally speaking the proper procedure for land remediation is the following:
The soil would need to be "land farmed." Meaning the soil would need to be sprayed once a week at a rate of 1 gallon (of concentrate) per every 1,000 square feet of contaminated soil. The soil would have to be tilled and kept moist through out the process. You would use the concentrate. The soil would need to be kept moist (10% moisture at least) using a sprinkler systems or other method. (natural rainfall, etc.). The product will naturally be diluted.
Typically within 70 days to TPH levels drop below 100 which is undetectable. |
