Compounded with highly refined paraffinic base stocks and additives to ensure extreme pressure characteristics, anti-wear, “limited slip”, corrosion inhibition, rust prevention, low pour point, and anti-foaming tendencies. Meets the requirements of U.S. Military Specification MIL-L-2105D, MIL-L-2105E and Mack Go-G, GO-H and GO-J. Primarily recommended for passenger cars and light trucks.

Recommended for gear units and axles where sulfur/phosphorus controlled chemically-active additive package is designated. Meets the requirements of the U.S. Military specification MIL-L-2105D, MIL-L-2105E and Mack GO-G, GO-H, GO-J. These are Alma EP Grades 5 and 7. 85W-140 is for heavy duty equipment, both on and off-highway fleets, as well as many industrial and commercial mechanical applications.
